Vincent BASECQ: graduate General Engineer of EIGSI in energy and environment (2010). PhD in Civil Engineering at La Rochelle University in LaSIE (2015). Vincent Basecq conducts his research in the field of heat in the BBC+ platform, he is associated to the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne for his research activity. His research interests include thermophysiological modeling and thermophysiological simulation (thermophysiological modeling coupled with an instrumented manikin); modeling of sensation and comfort; the thermal comfort of the building; the thermal comfort of the clothes; characterization of survival equipment and medical devices.

Abdelatif MERABTINE: Abdelatif Merabtine received in 2008 an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering at the National Technical University (Algiers). He then obtained a Master degree in Energetics and Propulsion Aerospace at the University of Paris Ouest (Nanterre) and a PhD from the University of Lorraine (Nancy) in the field of energy the building. Abdelatif Merabtine conducts its research at the University of Reims Champagne-Ardennes (France). His research activities concern the study of the energy behavior of the envelope and energy systems related to the building for energy optimization.

Olivier HORNER: “Agrégé” of Chemistry of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris-Saclay (1993), PhD in Inorganic Chemistry at the University of Paris-Sud and CEA / Saclay on artificial photosynthesis (1998). Postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University (1998-1999). Assisant Professor in bio-inorganic chemistry at CEA / Grenoble Joseph Fourier University for five years. Accreditation to supervise research (HDR) (2005). Research Engineer for eight years at EDF R&D in the field of corrosion and as a project manager in the fields of environmental chemistry and microbiology. CR1 Researcher at CNRS in the field of functionalized nanoparticles (2007). Olivier Horner performs his research in the laboratory LISE (UMR CNRS 8235) at Sorbonne University (Paris, France).

Dana OPRISAN: Dana OPRISAN is Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and Architect. She obtained her medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy (1999, Bucharest, Romania) and Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture from Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism (2009, Bucharest, Romania). She then obtained a Master’s degree Master of Science in Sustainable Design (Environmental Design/Architecture) from the Catholic University of America (2016) and a Certificate of Healthcare Facilities Planning and Design from Cornell University (2017). She LEED and Evidence-Based Design certified, she lectures and works as a researcher and consultant for the Biophilic Practice Group, Capital Nature, Washington DC. Since 2018, she is an Adjunct Professor at Marymount University (Arlington VA). Her research activities are focused on the impact of the built environment on human health and well-being and on translating the findings into innovative, human-centered, and environmentally responsible design solutions.

Guillaume POLIDORI: Guillaume Polidori is Professor of Fluid Mechanics at the University of Reims-Champagne-Ardenne. Hisresearch focuses on the visualization of convective flows and transfers, as well as the energy efficiency of buildings and user comfort. Until 2020, he headed the Research Group in Engineering Sciences (GRESPI EA 4694). This strong unit of 50 assistant professors hosts 30-40 doctoral students, and federates research in the fields of mechanics, thermics, biomechanics and health, materials and process engineering.

Jean-Michel NICOLLE: After a master’s degree in economics, Jean-Michel NICOLLE graduated from the IAE (Institute of Business Administration) in Paris in 1977, obtained a DEA in management from the University of Paris 1 in 1978 and began a doctoral training. In 1982, he graduated in economics and management. In 1985, he obtained a diploma in public accounting. Jean-Michel Nicolle has been at the head of EPF, a graduate school of engineering, since January 2008. He has also been vice-president of the Cdefi (Conference of Directors of French Engineering Schools) since September 2018.

Arnaud D’ABOVILLE: graduate engineer of the Naval School, then graduated from higher military education, Arnaud D’Aboville spent most of his career within the Ministry of Defense, where he assumed command functions, management of operational projects, and diplomatic relations within several international structures or embassies in Europe. He also assumed academic responsibilities in the direction of an MBA in defense and strategy. He is the Director of the EPF campus in Troyes.
